Let’s celebrate the launch of Raven Obsidian Creations (est. Nov 2020) which showcases art created by capturing the magical essence of Nature through photography, then digitally transforms the images to reveal the emerging Sentient Beings & Abstracts within.

Cheryl will share her story of growing up in Williams Lake and finding solace and connection in nature. While raising her children, working part time, and going to University to get her Degree, she found the moments she had to create art gave her the strength to do it all. With the encouragement of her husband, three sons, and her daughter, Cheryl discovered her passion is to create art which led her to start her business, Raven Obsidian Creations.

About the Artists : Raven Obsidian Creations

Cheryl Baker was born in Langley, raised in Williams Lake and Victoria, she left home at 18 and moved to; Montreal, Vancouver, Vernon and now lives in the shadow of the Lions Gate Bridge with her husband of 32 years, Calvin.Cheryl worked in Administration for many years, and then went back to school to get her degree. In 2009, with the gift a camera she began her journey into what is now her life’s purpose, to use her art to show, we all matter, and to support those that cannot help themselves. Cheryl started her business to leave a Legacy for her Family and the World.

Jennifer Sonier (Cheryl's daughter) was born in Vancouver and moved to Vernon where she met the love of her life, Gordon. Jennifer is a multi-talented artist, using many mediums to share her gifts with the world. Her amazingly emotional and spiritual art is the inspiration that helped her Mother find her passion. Jennifer has 4 adult children and 1 teen and 5 grandchildren. Jennifer has dealt with many hardships in her life and is an incredible inspiration to her family and friends!
